- Cross Country -- The Vail Nordic Center is a great option for skiiers of the cross country variety. There are over 10 miles of trails and 6 miles of additional snowshoe trails. Ski conditions are excellent all winter. The VNC is a PSIA member and offers lessons at competitive rates. Open 9 AM - 5PM, daily.
- World Cup -- The U S World Cup, among many other national and international competitions, is part of what has made Vail, Colorado #1. Ski competitions are scheduled throughout the winter - all are free to spectators.
- Ice Rinks --
Vail locals are no strangers to ice skating. A handful of
different rinks are located throughout the valley for ice
skating or hockey.

Machining -- In Vail and the surrounding area, there are
hundreds of miles of trails for the snomobile enthusiast. There

best trails and steepest hills.
